The VA is the main federal agency in charge of providing benefits and health care services for U.S. Veterans. Determining VA eligibility and enrollment is free, and service members, veterans, and families can apply for VA benefits using one of the following methods listed below:

Native American Veterans
The VA consults with tribal governments to enhance access to services and benefits by veterans and their families through the Office of Tribal Government Relations. Native American Veterans may be eligible for a wide-variety of benefits available to all U.S. Veterans, including the following:

Older Veterans
Aid & Attendance Housebound Benefits can provide certain elderly veterans with an additional monetary amount if they are eligible for or receiving a VA Pension benefit. Older veterans also may qualify to receive geriatric and long term care programs through the VA:
